Klose to Raise the German Flag high

Jun 26, 2014 19:09

Klose has been something of a World Cup legend for Germany. The only player to have tied with the World Cup record of 15 goals with Brazil’s Ronaldo, Klose has shown immense talent on the field and is Germany’s top scorer as well. He plays as forward and has a good partnership on the field with teammates Thomas Mueller and Mesut Ozil, resulting in some deadly goal attempts and goals.

His gentlemanly style of playing has been noted by fans and foes alike. The fact that he does not pick up cards as frequently as some others do allow him to play a relatively smooth and hassle-free game. He’s an agile player who thinks and plays fast, not losing an opportunity to soot a goal. He is one of the very few smart players to act as a cover when someone strikes and misses, so he is able to capitalize on the shot that rebounds and thus score a goal.

A seasoned player, this World Cup is the fourth one for the 36 year old who shows no signs of slowing down. His passion and enthusiasm for the game is exceedingly commendable and he’s done a lot both for his country as well as the clubs he has been a part of. Though he is facing a team that has proved quite commendable this World Cup, Klose’s experience combined with brilliant abilities and teammates as able as Muller and Ozil should be enough to score them a win against the USA.
