Pre-Game Australia vs Netherlands

Netherlands will be pitted against massive underdogs Australia in the second match of their present World Cup campaign. Considering the beating they gave the defending Champs as they walked over their defense, they are now one among the favorites to win the tournament as the other teams with huge expectations have been disappointing. Australia, on the other side, couldn’t choose a worst opponent to face against as the Dutch would exploit the Aussies for all their frailties and make them look like newbies. Australia will be on their toes and will be hoping to play a spoilsport and salvage any number of points out of this fixture.

Players to look out for: The brave heroes Arjen Robben and Robin Van Persie will be everyone’s eye candy after their memorable performance. Robben’s quick sprint to score his second goal was phenomenal and he is being dubbed by a few as ‘The Flash’. Midfielders Wesley Sneijder and Nigel De Jong’s performances will be paramount for their teams attack and defense. Among the Australians, only their top scorer Tim Cahill is worth mentionable as he will play a major role for his country’s attack.

Teams head-to-head: Australia has played three games against Netherlands with the result being 2 draws and 1 loss.

Probable line-ups:Australia (4-1-3-2): Ryan; MacGowan, Davidson, Spiranovic, Wilkinson; Oar; Milligan, Jedinak, Bresciano; Cahill, Leckie.

Holland (4-4-2): Cillessen; Janmaat, Vlaar, De Vrij, Martins Indi; Blind, De Guzman, Sneijder, De Jong; Van Persie, Robben.

Predictions: Netherlands will most likely go easy on the Aussies but will pick up an easy victory while team from down-under will play for the best of their abilities to keep the Dutch at bay.

Final Score Prediction: Australia 0 – 2 Netherlands.
