Arsenal set to receive Giroud boost

Arsenal has had a tumultuous week or so with nothing going their way. To rub salt to the fresh wounds they had to bear with long term lay off to their star playmaker Mesut Ozil.

But there is glimmer of happiness in these dark days as Olivier Giroud can be back earlier than expected. Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was quoted saying that their hit-man is recovering ahead of his schedule and can be back earlier than his predicted January return.

"Giroud is recovering very well,"

manager Arsene Wenger told beIN Sports.

"The operation went perfectly. I believe he is ahead of schedule in terms of rehabilitation,"

There are also reports that winger Theo Walcott may soon feature for the Gunners as he too is coming back of a lengthy injury lay off. This looks good for an injury plagued Arsenal who are missing Aaron Ramsey, Mikel Arteta and Mathieu Debuchy with long term injuries.
