Courtois to Real Madrid?

Rumor mills continue to churn out weird and absurd stories by the hour as the latest rumor by British tabloid Daily Star is anything but that.

Daily Star’s Johnathan Green has reported that Real Madrid is chasing Chelsea’s Thibaut Courtois. Los Blancos are considering him as the second option wshould they miss out on Manchester United’s David de Gea.

Reports have constantly linked De Gea to Real but now reports are emerging that he is edging closer to a new deal at Old Trafford.

Courtois, like de Gea is no stranger to Madrid as he was previously on loan at Atletico. But it is very hard for Real to persuade Chelsea to let go with their best keeper. It will take a world record bid to secure the Belgian number one’s services.

Real’s willingness to replace Casillas is growing stronger by the day but will they break the bank for his replacement while he is still actively playing for Madrid and also trying to fend off competition from Keylor Navas? It is difficult but not impossible, till then Blues’ fans can relax and enjoy the services of Courtois at the club.
