Spain continued their bullying of minnows as they breezed past a mediocre Luxembourg side with a clean-sheet as well. Diego Costa broke his duck for Spain after six appearances for La Roja as they marched to 4-0 thumping at Stade Josey Barthel.
Spain a few changes to their lineup as we saw David De Gea make his competitive debut for Spain, David Siva in for Cesc Fabregas and also Barca youngster Marc Bartra came in place of Raul Albiol. The European champions began the game along the expected lines as they dominated from the word go.

Luxembourg had chances so few and far between that one would've toured that entire nation and still wouldn’t have missed any. David De Gea must be thanking lady luck for handing him such an easy debut. He barely made 2 saves.
After missing raft of chances, Diego Costa finally managed to get monkey off his back. A scrappy finish bit nonetheless a morale boosting goal for the Brazilian born Spaniard. Spain managed to get in a fourth via Bayern Munich’s right back Bernat in 88th minute.
It was a nervy win for the visitors as they are still struggling to get to their surreal best.
