Pique to England? Yes but only if…

Spain international Gerard Pique is certainly one of the hot properties in the transfer market at the moment. If reports are to be believed, then the Catalan defender is a target of almost all the top clubs in England.

It is no secret that all the top clubs in England need a reliable leader in their heart of defense except Chelsea. Most notably, Manchester United and Arsenal are leading the chase with Liverpool planning a coup in the background.

It is reported that the La Masia grad is not happy with the current boss Luis Enrique’s decision to bench him for long periods of time. It is reported that United is his favored destination if he chooses to leave Camp Nou. A fee in the region of 20 million pounds is toted to tempt Barcelona to sell him.

The transfer has a major hindrance as Barca is undergoing its transfer ban so they wont be able to sign any players till next January. Pique is a boyhood Barcelona fan and a loyal player. It is reported that he will reject a move till Barca are not able to sign his replacement.
