Pune hogged majority of possession and they made most of it by punishing Bengaluru by scoring a third via Raju in 82nd minute. Bengaluru were awarded a consolation goal which was sublime finish from Lyngdoh. Lyngdoh curled the ball past Singh in 90th minute as the game was nearing it’s conclusion. It was too late to start a comeback for the hosts.

Pune sit second on the table with this win while Bengaluru are in seventh place in the I-League standings.
