Football fans who are also lovers of international super star pop sensation Rihanna have multiple reasons to rejoice as it s now being reported by dailymail.co.uk that the Reds fan wants to buy a football club in the UK (maybe Liverpool!).

Rihanna showed how much of a football she is as she spent her time in Brazil watching the finals of the World Cup at the Maracana Stadium recently during which she celebrated with the winners Germany.

The news was making the rounds for quite some time but it has picked up steam after reports that the Carribean beauty is actually serious about her plans and has supposedly planned to launch a couple of football academies back home.

A source close to the ‘We found Love’ hit-maker disclosed about her intent in buying a football club. They said: “At first we thought Rihanna's desire to be involved with soccer on a business level would soon blow over. We figured she was still on a high from the World Cup.

“But now it's becoming clear she really is serious. She's talking about setting up a football academy in her native Barbados. Then her big dream is to be involved with a UK club.”

The source continued: “Britain is like a second home to her, although she's also hinted she may do something with an LA team.”
