The Chelsea star has seen an excellent season both for his club as well as during the qualifiers of the World Cup for his country. His performance for Chelsea in the past two years has been prolific, having won the Chelsea player of the year. His fantastic assists coupled with the goals he scored during the Premier League also landed him the Premier League Player of the Year award.
Hazard is good as a midfielder as he is able to shoot goals when he has the ball in his possession and has fluid dribbling, passing and shooting skills. What makes him even better for this position is his ability to effectively defend the opposition, which is why it is ideal if he is placed as one of the midfielders in a team of three with a solid wall of defence behind him.
Hazard has only scored 6 goals for Belgium out of 45 games so far in his career, but his perfect form and dedication to the game should only make him eager and enthusiastic to play better. There emerges a need for the twenty-three year old player to make quicker decisions on the field ,a chance that will come to him soon as he is mostly going to be one of the opening eleven in Belgium’s first World Cup match against Algeria. With a firm grounding in European-style football since a very young age and an able form coupled with the ability to run circles around the opposing defence in order to score, Eden Hazard is ready to set fire to the grounds and hopefully emerge victorious against Algeria.
