Bosnia and Herzegovina Vs Nigeria Match Preview #WorldCup2014 #NIGBIH

Newcomers to World Cup football, Bosnia and Herzgovina impressed against the favorites Argentina as they succumbed to a 2-1 defeat. They were effective enough for most of the match but they couldn’t hold the best player in the world, Lionel Messi from breaking through their defense. They can still keep their World Cup dream alive if they manage a draw or anything more than that, i.e. a victory. Judging by their first game as they dominated the Argentineans with the most shots on target, it does not look like a stretch as they can probably beat the old and weary Nigerian team.

Players to look out for:

Edin Dzeko, English club Manchester City’s striker will play a crucial role in front of the goal alongside veteran Vedad Ibisevic, goal scorer against Argentina. While John Obi Mikel, the Chelsea midfielder is likely to start as opposed to being on the bench last time, is a key player for the Africans. Shola Ameobi and Peter Odemwingie make for a good attacking option for the Nigerians and will hope to get their team a victory.

Teams head-to-head:

The two teams have never faced each other.

Probable line-ups:

Bosnia and Herzegovina (4-5-1): Begovic; Mujdza, Kolasinac, Bicakcic, Spahic; Besic, Hajrovic, Pjanic, Ibisevic, Lulic; Dzeko

Nigeria (4-5-1): Enyeama; Ambrose, Oshaniwa, Omeruo, Yobo; Mikel, Musa, Onazi, Azeez, Moses; Emenike.

Prediction:

Bosnia is likely to pick up a victory as opposed to Nigeria as they have already shown what kind of a threat they can pose against the big guns.

Final Score Prediction: Bosnia and Herzegovina 2 – 1 Nigeria.
