From winter is coming to winter is here, and today we are here to analyze and talk about Serie A and their teams.
From domination to demolition, from scandals to ruling Europe, from Carlo Ancelotti's Milan to Inzaghi's Serie A has seen it all. The league which once was in peak with their team ruling Europe and national team ruling the world, it has been a sad fall from grace.
But today we aren't here to discuss Series A's fall from grace instead we are here to discuss their team's prospects of the current season. With all the focus falling on Juventus.
Leading the table, as is the case from the past four years - Juventus are again the side to beat. Not much has changed over the past 12 months. With just Conte being replaced by Allegri being the only significant change.
As Crosetti wrote "Juventus were, and are, the strongest". "Roma were, and are, the only alternative".
As true as the line's are, Roma stand second three points behind the team they chase as Rudi Garcia side look to topple the Juve strong hold at the top of the table.
Napoli who lie a distant third and 12 points already behind the leaders. Napoli side just look incomplete.
Punching above their weights are clubs like Sampdoria and Genoa who have out performed the likes of Milan, Fiorentina and Inter.
Likewise, Sassuolo and Palermo have done well and nurtured talents as they churns out players for Italian national team in Zaza and Berardi and Palermo growing their traditional South American crop in Vazquez and Dybala.
But in the end 2014 still belongs to just one club and only one club - Juventus. Winning the title by record points (95) the Bianconeri are still hand and foot higher than anyone else in the league. Far too flawless and with a balanced side, Juventus are the best team in Italy.
But Roma whose desire is still keeping them alive can have some respite that they are just three behind Juve this season unlike five points last year.
