Kids love to play and it is during the months of May and June – the summer months, more commonly known amongst kids and parents as holiday season that they get to play more than school days. This is the time kids can break free of the regular and mundane while focusing on the extra-curricular. Now, we would definitely want what’s best for our wards therefore If you are asking yourselves what to plan this summer, Bharat FC’s Residential and Non Residential Summer Camp offers something that most football camps in India fail to offer – “A unique Leaning Experience”
The Bharat Summer Soccer Camp 2016 is for 8 to 17 year olds – a camp where the players will receive on field training along with the opportunity to learn from the best. It is a course that teaches the students technical, tactical, physical and mental elements of the game in a fun and friendly atmosphere.
The Football Mind got in touch with Aniket Kulkarni, In-charge of Bharat FC’s Grassroot Program in order to help us understand more about the camp
TFM: Could you tell us more the summer camp?
Aniket:“This is the 1st camp of its kind, no one has done something such before, in India at least. It's a full day football camp done by International Experienced coaches including lots of fun filled activities throughout the day. Mainly it's the experience, one can get football coaching anywhere, but here the amazing venue, the facilities, the staff, the overall combination of the experience is going to be very unique.”
- Another unique aspect of the Bharat FC camp is that it not only trains them to learn skills but also teaches them movements and techniques which helps on the pitch. Teamwork, Hard work, a better understanding of the game, as well as a chance to socialise with the other students is what brings this course at par with the one’s we see abroad. What makes all this better is that it is being held in the Lavale Campus - 350 Acre Campus surrounded by breath taking scenery!
TFM: What is the Major Benefit of the Camp?
Aniket: Major benefit of the summer camp is in regard to the experience that the kids are going to get, considering the part that it's a full day camp with residential facility, they will get to interact with kids of their own age from different parts of the country as enrollments are from all over the country. Secondly, their major benefit is receiving coaching from a very highly renown coach- Mr. Barry Knowles who scouted talents like Wayne Rooney and Leighton Baines

TFM: How will the camp be beneficial to the students?
Aniket: We have an Elite academy known as Kalyani Bharat Elite Academy, and we will be looking for extremely talented kids who would worthy for the Academy which is completely sponsored by the club. We also have various soccer schools where the kids can participate and improve their skills and eventually go through trials to be selected in the Academy.
