FIFA World Cup Final: Throwback Thursday Classic Germany vs Brazil

It is really hard to believe that it has been 12 years to this amazing match where both sides were equal in terms of Legendary players and history.

Germany had the likes of Kahn, Metzelder, Frings, Jeremies, Schneider, Klose and Nueville. Yet, Players like Deisler, Ballack, Mehmet Scholl, Christian Wörns and Jens Nowotny missed out due to injuries or suspensions.

On the other hand, Brazil's squad comprised f greats like Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Ronaldinho, Cafu, Roberto Carlos, Juninho, Gilberto Silva and Lucio with no significant suspensions or injuries. Their squad was at full strength.

Brazil was the better side and even the then 'Best goalkeeper of Europe', Oliver Kahn could not stop the El Fenomeno Ronaldo. The Phenomenon scored a brace to give Brazil their 5th World Cup. Heart break for the Germans and Rejoice for the Brazilians.

Today happens to be the birthday of Ronaldo, We at the Football Mind wish him a very prosperous birthday!
