Here is a roundup of the top 10 transfers till now in this transfer window and the probable transfers we would see before the window closes.

  • 1.Angel Di Maria

The argentine moved to PSG after just one season at United. The 27 year old winger cost 44.10 million pounds to the French side. The winger who cost United 60 Million Pounds just a season ago was unable to match expectations set for him as well as give below par performances before being sold.

  • 2.Raheem Sterling

The Ex-Liverpool man made the switch from Merseyside this summer. The 20 year old winger now plays for Manchester City and moved to Etihad in a deal worth 43.75 Million Pounds. A controversial transfer as Sterling had forced his hand at Liverpool by not signing another contract with them, forcing them to sell the player.

The 24 year old forward was brought to Merseyside from Aston Villa following Raheem Sterling’s departure. This deal cost Liverpool 32.5 Million Pounds. The argentine defender who was linked with Manchester United all summer made a surprise move to their rivals Manchester City. The deal which saw Otamendi come from Valencia to City cost the Manchester side 31.22 Million Pounds. The Argentine forced Valencia to sell him as he refused to train with the first team.

  • 5.Arturo Vidal

The Chilean Midfielder was being chased by the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool but ended up signing for German Giants Bayern Munich in a deal which saw Juventus get 25.9 Million Pounds for the 28 year old.



  • 6.Roberto Firmino

The Brazilian midfielder made the switch to Merseyside early in the transfer window. The 23 year old had been a consistent top performer for his previous club Hoffenheim. The deal cost Liverpool 28.7 Million Pounds. He is expected to add the “X-Factor” to their squad. A lot is expected from the youngster who is known for his ability to perform match after match.

  • 7.Mateo Kovacic

The Croatian Central Midfielder switched from Italian side Inter Milan to Spanish side Real Madrid in a deal worth 24.5 Million Pounds. The 21 year old was linked with other sides but it was Real Madrid who swooped in and secured the signature of the highly rated youngster. Icardi, his ex-teammate was linked with Real Madrid in this transfer window itself.

  • 8.Morgan Scheneiderlin

The 25 year old Midfielder came to Old Trafford from Southampton in a deal which cost United 24.5 Million Pounds. The French International garnered interest from multiple sides including United’s rivals Arsenal.



  • 9.Jackson Martinez

This Columbian forward who came to Porto from Mexican side Chipas FC for 6.5 Million Pounds, almost quadrupled his value in a span of 3 seasons. He transfer from FC Porto to Madrid cost Atletico 24.5 Million Pounds. The 28 year old striker who helped Porto to the quarter finals of the Champions league moved to Madrid after Mario Mandzukic moved to Italian side Juventus.

  • 10.Arda Turan

The 28 year old Turkish midfielder moved to Spanish side FC Barcelona in a deal worth 24.5 Million Pounds. The versatile player who can also play as a winger cannot play till January because of the Transfer Ban imposed by FIFA on the Catalan side.

Probable Transfers

  • -John Stones

The Everton Defender has been linked to Chelsea for quite some time now. The English international is being viewed as a long term replacement for ageing Club Legend John Terry. The 21 year old player, who is valued over 20 Million Pounds is likely to take place as Chelsea need defensive reinforcements as their defence has not been up to the mark.



  • -Kevin De Bruyne

The 24 year old attacking midfielder has been linked to EPL side Manchester City. The Belgian international who joined Wolsburg for a deal worth 17.5 million Pounds has been valued at 60 Million Pounds by his current employer. He has been in stellar form, helping Wolsburg win DFL Supercup recently, he also helped the German side to the second position in the Bundesliga.



  • -Juan Cuadrado

The pace-y winger who moved to London from Serie A side Fiorentina has not been able to gather playing time. He is likely to move away from the English side with Juventus looking like a possible destination. The 27 year old has also been linked other Serie A sides as well. The Columbian international who joined Chelsea this season failed to make any significant impact with the English Premier League side.

Charlie Austin is being chased by multiple clubs. Newcastle and Manchester United amongst other clubs are looking to secure the player’s signature. The 26 year old striker, who is currently playing for Championship side QPR is likely to leave in order to find more top flight football.

  • -Saido Berahino

Beharinho is being chased by Tottenham but his employers are not willing to sell him. The English Striker has put in a transfer request so as to ensure his move to White Hart Lane but the 22 year old striker is an important player in the WBA side thus making his transfer situation more complicated.
