You thought he was done, didn't you? But Torres answered all his critics as he scored a brace against arch rivals Real Madrid.

If there was only one club that could find the well-hidden reserves of Fernando Torres' confidence, Atletico Madrid were it.

It was Fernando's second appearance since his home coming, AC Milan who bought Torres outright from Chelsea and put him past his misery loaned him out to his home club. With Cerci joining on loan in the opposite side.

But the question remains is it redemption time? Is Torres back?

With a brilliant performance against Real Madrid in the second leg, the strike looked sharp and quick. Scoring with in the first minutes of the both the half, he settled the tie in favor of his home club.

Jubilant Atletico fans who where placed in the top tier of the stadium could believe what they had witnessed. Atleti had undone Real again, slowly but surly it becoming an habit.
