World Cup 2014 pre-game ARGENTINA vs BOSNIA and HERZGOVINA

Bosnia and Herzgovina’s World Cup campaign seems to be a nerve wracking one. They are pitted against Argentina, one of the favorites to win the coveted trophy.  Just hearing the names of the Argentine attacking front would shrink the already thin Bosnian defensive line-up as the likes of Lionel Messi, Sergio Aguero and Gonzalo Higuain will be looking to stamp their authority and point out why they are considered the favorites. The South Americans will be playing under home conditions and this will serve to be an unnecessary boost for the giants. If Bosnia is to survive longer in the tournament, its defense needs an immense shake-down.

Players to look out for: Lionel Messi will have a huge responsibility to lead his country forward. It’s not all on Messi as another deadly and able talent Sergio Aguero will shoulder the hopes of his people. Angel Di Maria is the most crucialman in Alejandro Sabella’s squad as he will be the one to create opportunities for the trio upfront. Among the Bosnian squad there’s only two players worth mentioning, one Asmir Begovic, goalkeeper for the Premier League club Stoke City, arguably their best player, will be tested for all his grit. Edin Dzeko, another talented forward, who reveled at Manchester City will be key for Bosnian attack.

Teams head-to-head:
The two teams have not shared any history as this is Bosnia’s first ever World Cup appearance.

Probable line-ups:
Argentina: Romero; Zabaleta, Fernandez, Garay, Rojo; Gago, Mascherano, Di Maria; Messi, Higuain, Aguero.

Bosnia and Herzgovina: Begovic; Mujdza, Spahic, Bicakcic, Kolasinac; Hajrovic, Besic, Pjanic, Misimovic; Lulic, Dzeko.

Predictions:
Argentina is more than capable of handling any slip-ups from their back four. There’s a likelihood of a goal fest.

Final Score Predictions: Argentina 4- 0 Bosnia and Herzgovina
