2014 Premier League Review

The year is about to end but end of Premier League is still million miles away. But we have decided to review the league if it was about to end today. What would it look like? City could have won it now as well? Liverpool could have given a tough run in this moment as well? Some questions which might get answered.

It was tale of two halves in Premier League as first half was all about Manchester City and Liverpool, where they battled it out for one of the most dramatic title races of recent time. But second half of the season has been all about Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea. But the surprises have been given by Southampton and West Ham United who have been battling it out with the big boys for the coveted Champions League spot.

Manchester United had three managers in 2014. That is more than what they have had in last 35 years. But the results are beginning to show as Louis van Gaal’s boys are slowly warming up to the title charge as they end the year on a seven game unbeaten run.

Arsenal have been consistently mediocre as they have struggled in league throughout the year. Everton and Spurs had a decent first half but they have somehow failed to kick on their season in the second half of the year.
