5 Players That United Could Use This Window

After looking at Manchester United's struggle yesterday against lowly Cambridge United in the FA Cup, we still think that Louis Van Gaal has time and can and make do with a few more signings this season! Here are the five names, we'd suggest to the Manchester United manager who already has spent a whopping 154 million pounds in the summer to build his current squad.

5) Iker Muniain: Already known as the Spanish Messi, the Basque born player just 22 now, is dubbed for greatness. His style and diminutive stature lets him beat his markers easily as he cuts in from the left to his stronger right foot to provide a deadly through ball or a shot which at least tests the keeper most of the times. Man United could make do with feel of these we suppose. With Di Maria on the right and Muniain on the left, that could be some combination which can be compared to good old days of Becks and Giggs.

4) Memphis Depay: Just like Muniain, Memphis Depay is one of the huge upcoming names in the world of football. A Dutch international at the age of 20, Depay is what United would love on the wings. Pace, trickery and Goals, Depay is a complete package. The only reason he makes it ahead in our list of Iker Muniain is because of his relationship with Manchester United manager Van Gaal who was the former Dutch coach. And highly likelier to sign, just because of the manager.

3) Kevin Strootman: One name which looks inevitable to join Manchester United is AS Roma midfielder Kevin Strootman. The destroyer who missed the world cup and most part of the football last is recovering from is double ACL tear. He has started a couple of recent AS Roma games, which leads to speculation that the Italian club would want to keep hold of their star midfielder as long as they can, and try and get maximum profit from the deal if ever they decide to sell him. United on the other hand could bargain with the point that, he is no more the same player after his career threatening injury.

2) Aleksander Dragovic: With the never ending injury problems for Van Gaal in defensive section of the team, the Dutch manager might look to sign a couple of good Centre Backs to secure his defence. Aleksander Dragovic might just be the answer for all the questions being asked to the United defence. Dragovic a full Austrian international, currently playing for the Ukrainian club Dynamo Kyiv, could be on his way to Manchester United.

1) Dani Alves: The right-back position also needs strengthening and Brazilian and Barcelona star, Dani Alves is available on a free transfer in the summer. Whilst he is 31, Alves would still be a very good capture for the Manchester club. His attacking ability makes him perfect for the Manchester United philosophy and he could be a shrewd signing for a couple of seasons.
