Chelsea icon Didier Drogba might retire at the end of summer

The English media is abuzz that Chelsea striker Didier Drogba will hang his boots at the end of the season. The 36 year old will join Jose Mourinho’s coaching staff from next season.

The Ivorian has been Chelsea’s talisman over the years and recently rejoined the club this season after leaving the club in 2012 post Chelsea’s European triumph. Drogba is facing stiff competition from Loic Remy and Diego Costa for a first team berth.

The reports also suggest that Mourinho will replace Drogba with their upcoming starlet Andrej Kramaric. The Croat is on loan at Vitesse Arnhem in Eredivisie currently.
