Chelsea new boy Loic Remy calls Liverpool dishonest

Loic Remy was poised for a move to Anfield earlier this summer for a fee of £8m. But the move didn't materialize as he reportedly failed his medical at the Merseyside club. This came as a shock to the former QPR striker.

It is a known fact that the Frenchman has a heart condition which was discovered in 2010. He has passed medicals at almost all the clubs he has played for till date.

This has upset the 26 year old and while giving an interview to Telefoot he expressed his displeasure. "I did not understand Liverpool's decision.

"It was not very honest from their side."

Former Newcastle loanee also stated that he is not the only footballer to have this condition and there are several players who share it.

"I was not scared. I know exactly what I have, I met all the specialists in the world. A lot of players share the same situation as mine and Liverpool know it."

Liverpool's loss is Chelsea's gain as the Blues pounced on the striker couple of days before the deadline day. Remy is scheduled for his Chelsea debut this week against a resilient Swansea side.
