Red Devils could terminate Falcao deal

Manchester United have an option to terminate Radamel Falcao's loan deal, if reports by London based daily Independent are to be believed. Provided that the Colombian hitman injures his knee again.

It is a known fact that Falcao has a history of knee injuries throughout his career. He returned to competitive football in late July this year after missing a majority of last season with a knee injury. A recurrence of this injury would rule him out for almost an entire season.

Manchester United are reportedly paying £300,000 a week to him. The amount of money is simply mind boggling to pay any player, let alone to an injured one. It seems United don't want to take any chances by paying such wages to a player for a year who's on the physio's table for most of the season after their horrible experience with Owen Hargreaves.

Although they do have an option to buy El Tigre next season for a rumored fee of around £45 million, if all goes according to the plan. It remains to be seen what's in store for Radamel Falcao.
