Crystal Palace's Emmanuel Adebayor aims on breaking Didier Drogba's record and becoming the highest-scoring African in Premier League history.
The 31-year-old who signed for palace on tuesday is 8 goals short of the 104 strikes that Drogba amassed during his time in England's top flight. Beating the Ivorian's total would be the highlight of his career, says the former Arsenal, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur striker."What I have achieved in football so far, I’m quite happy with,” he told the club's official website. Due to talks over his fitness levels, Adebayor has played only 17 minutes in the Premier League since January 2015, but the #25, forward holds that he is in good shape and ready to help out his new team. “Hopefully I can bring more experience to Palace and achieve what they want to achieve.” he added.
