Eidur Gudjohnsen returns to Bolton Wanderers

Bolton manager has completed the signing of former player Eidur Gudjohnsen. There were speculations rife that he will return to the Reebok Stadium sooner than later.

"I think he'll be a big-game player and enjoy the occasion," manager Neil Lennon told BBC Radio Manchester at a media conference on Thursday.

The former Chelsea and Barcelona star will bring in the much needed experience and quality in this injury ravaged Bolton side who are struggling in the Championship.

"It will take him a little bit of time to adjust to the Championship and the quality of player he's used to playing with.

"We need that type of player with Mark Davies out and Chung Yong-Lee might not be here [because of international commitments] in January."
