Ten managers have made the FIFA world coach of the year list for 2014. We take a look at their achievements in 2013 which helped them make the list.
1) Carlo Ancelotti:
There is absolutely no surprise at the inclusion of Ancelotti to the list. The Italian helped Real Madrid win their 'La Decima' or the tenth Champions league, making them undisputed kings of the football clubs. He also won them Copa Del Rey and the Spanish Copa last season.

2) Antonio Conte:
The former Juve coach and the current coach of Italy makes the list because of the League and Cup double which helped Juve win last season.

3) Pep Guardiola:
Since his sabbatical year, Pep Guardiola has taken charge of the Bayern Munich side and already won them four trophies in the last season. The Super Cup, FIFA Clubs World Cup, Bundesliga and the DBF-Pokal.

4) Jurgen Klinsmann:
Klinsmann who took charge of the USA NT in 2011, has done a tremendous job of putting football/soccer on the sporting events in US. A country dominated by Basketball and Baseball, the German has done well to develop and trained a young side and managed to win the CONCACAF 2013. The teams performance in Brazil world cup has made people of America take notice.

5) Joachim Low:
The man on the list who really deserve's to win the award after his German side won the World Cup, outscoring every opposition in its way to glory. Low's work is commendable and now the an has set his sights on the Euro 2016 trophy.

6) Jose Mourinho:
Jose Mourinho who made his way from the Spanish league to English league last season, had a season to forget. Mourinho and his Chelsea side couldn't win any trophy last year but his work and his endeavours with his side in late stages of Champions league has earned him a spot on the list.

7) Manuel Pellegrini:
The Manchester City manager who romped the league and won the title by whisker makes the list. The Chilean helped his side win the Premier league and Capital One Cup last year.

8) Alejandro Sabella:
The Argentinian manager deserve's all the credit on his side making the World cup finals. Sabella turned his sides week points into strong as the Argentinian defence stood strong and fought hard to keep the eventual champions Germany at bay until the 113th minute.

9) Diego Simeone:
If one manager who deserves the award after Joachim Low is, Diego Simeone. El Cholo can be also called as a over achieve of the season, as he made a modest Atletico Madrid side into a lethal one. The La Liga win and their run up to the finals of Champions league was commendable and great achievement when you look at the two club dominated La Liga.

10) Louis Van Gaal:
Louis Van Gaal makes the list due to his work with the Dutch national side which qualified from a tough group knocking out Spain in the process. The current United manager, managed to get his side finish third in the world cup after some terrific performance from Robben and Van Persie.
