Juventus vs Inter Milan Match Preview

Serie A is back from the winter break and what better way to start the year than Derby d'Italia!

Though it might not have the same ring as the it used to, but it still is one of the best derby games in Italian football.

Juventus who sit top of the pile and lead the pack by three points, enter the year as the team to beat again. Juve who changed their manager in July as Conte left them to take over as the manager of Italian national side, have done pretty well to maintain their top spot with Allegri guiding them to a smooth sale.

Inter on the other hands, changed their manager recently after a disastrous start to the season. Inter who languishes as lowly as 11th on the table, are looking to try and bring back the old Nezzuri spirit with Mancini at the helm now. Recruitment of Lukas Podolski from Arsenal and interest in Bayern's Shaqiri shows that Inter want to restore their lost pride.

Projected Starting XIs

Juventus F.C.: Buffon; Lichtsteiner, Bonucci, Chiellini, Evra; Pirlo, Pogba, Marchisio, Vidal; Tevez, Llorente

F.C. Internazionale Milano: Handanovic; D'Ambrosio, Ranocchia, Juan Jesus, Dodo; Guarin, Medel, Kuzmanovic; Kovacic; Icardi, Palacio

TFM Prediction: Juve 3-1 Inter
