Leicester City boss has revealed that his players were blessed by Buddhist monks ahead of their thrilling victory at King Power stadium on Sunday.
He said in his address to media,
‘I hope we’ll see them more often.’
He added that,
“The Buddhist events, in which rituals are chanted and candles are lit, are intended to bring positive karma.”
It has been also been revealed that players David Nugent and Jamie Vardy wore Buddhist necklaces after their match.
This ritual has been with the Foxes for quite a while as their Thai billionaire owner, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha flies in monks from his homeland frequently.
It has also been revealed that Leicester went to Thailand in a monastery to seek blessings from the same monks post their Sky Bet Championship win last season.
