Luka Modric Contract Extended at Madrid

After securing World Class players in the form of Rodriguez and Kroos this transfer window, Real Madrid have also been busy stabilizing their ?squad. Xabi Alonso's contract was extended recently up to 2016 and now Luka Modric's contract has also been extended up to 2018.

Modric had a brilliant season with Madrid and looks to build on it this season. With 4 goals in 67 appearances he is the solid and creative defensive midfielder who can go on after Alonso retires. This contract extension was a reward for his performance last season.
