Manchester City vs AS Roma Match Preview
Overview
Manchester City
Manchester City has made an indifferent start this season, with having already lost to Stoke City at the Etihad a couple of weeks ago. Manuel Pellegrini’s side have struggled to hit top form this season. This is mainly due to the fact that their last season’s talisman Yaya Toure is yet to get in his groove.
City’s UEFA Champions League campaign began with a narrow 1-0 defeat to Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena. City must be disappointed that they couldn’t get a result away at Bayern in spite of having their share of opportunities.
AS Roma
Roma are in, contrast to City, top form this season. They are yet to lose this season in any competition. With five wins in as many games, Roma are indeed flying high.
They began their Champions League campaign by thrashing CSKA Moscow 5-1 at the Stadio Olympico. Romans with the kind of form they are in will give a stern test to Manchester City.
