This is going to be one heck of a clash as both teams will look to get all the three points in order to achieve their goals. A win for hosts will propel them to the top of the table while a win for the visitors will get them into the contention for a place in top 4.

Mumbai have been very impressive at home as they’ve just lost a solitary game at DY Patil and have always won at home whenever they have scored. Meanwhile Goa is trying to redeem themselves after a disastrous start to the season.

Key Battles

Nicolas Anelka vs Youness Bengelloun

Le Bataille de Françoise! This is a clash of two Frenchmen in sublime form. Nicolas Anelka is driving force of MCFC while Bengelloun is rock for Goa who can trouble the scorers as well. It remains to be seen how Bengelloun manages to burst forward with having Nicolas Anelka to contend with. It is going to be the highlight of the game.

Manuel Friedrich vs Tolgay Özbey

Özbey ran riot against Dynamos in Goa’s last game and he will be looking to do the same against Mumbai. He can only do so, if he can manage to get better of Citizens’ defensive plinth in Manuel Friedrich. The German has been very much the focal point everytime for Mumbai’s solid defemsive displays, a highly entertaining battle is on the cards tomorrow.

Players to Watch

Mumbai City FC

Andre Moritz – The Brazilian has failed to score post his stunning derby day hat-trick. He will be itching to get on scoresheet. And who can be better than Brazil’s erstwhile colonial brethren from Goa to get back into form.

FC Goa

Andre Santos – He has made impact from the minute stepped on the field for Zico’s boys. He will again be their key player to get the ball rolling for the western rivals.
