Europe's premier club competition is on the verge of getting underway with the conclusion of all the qualifying rounds. Since England is 3rd in UEFA coefficients, they are entitled to send 4 teams in the competition.
This year the four teams representing England have a different outlook altogether. Liverpool mark their return to the European elite by making their first appearance in 5 years at the expense of bitter rivals Manchester United, who missed out on the Champions League football for the first time in 18 years.
All English clubs have announced their squads for this term's competition. All the clubs have to comply with UEFA's guidelines while submitting their squads.
The concise description of these rules are as follows -
All the clubs have to submit a list of 25 players in List 'A' in which they compulsorily have to name 8 home grown players which are also known as 'association or locally trained' players. Then there is another list called List 'B' in which the clubs can name as many players they want. This list is for all the young players at the club.
List 'B' players should be under 20 years of age who have spent at least two full seasons at the club.
So here is the list for all Premier League clubs squad for this year -
Manchester City -
Liverpool -
Chelsea -
