Pune FC offer Premier League free agent Bobby Zamora a contract

In what can be defined as one of the greatest strides by a I league club, this deal from the Maharashtra side does stand out as a brilliant moment.

I league club from the Deccan seem to have just taken the national league a nudge higher as the Sun reports of the club offering a contact to the former Westham, QPR and Tottenham Hotspur player.

Zamora, who is 34 years of age, is a free agent after being released by QPR last month.

The former Tottenham Hotspur forward scored three goals and created 50 chances in 31 Premier League appearances in the recently concluded 2014-15 campaign.

The former Fulham man had a pass accuracy of 65% and a shot accuracy of 25%, and won 58 headers, five dribbles and nine tackles.
