Real Madrid defeated several top European teams en route to winning the Champions League at Wembley in May such as Juventus, Bayern Munich, Schalke, Galatasaray and city rivals Atletico Madrid.
While Sevilla, Real Madrid’s La Liga rivals, too performed a similar feat as they outdid a couple of teams from the lesser known leagues in Europe. They defeated teams like Real Betis, Valencia and Benfica to win the Europa League and set a date to fight against the unstoppable Los Blancos side who are now strengthened by the arrival of James Rodriguez and Toni Kroos as they are likely feature in their first ever trophy math even before the start of the season.
Probable Lineups:
Real Madrid: Casillas; Carvajal, Pepe, Ramos, Coentrao; Kroos, Modric; Bale, Rodriguez, Ronaldo; Benzema
Sevilla: Beto; Coke, Pareja, Fazio, Moreno; Krychowiak, Denis, Carriço, Iborra; Aspas, Bacca
Prediction: Real Madrid will go on with their usual business as they look to destroy whatever defenses the minnows Sevilla will put up as they are bolstered by some of the best talents in the world to which a few others of the same pedigree have joined. Sevilla, meanwhile, will be on the defensive as they will hope to survive the huge typhoon ahead of them to play another day.
