Prominent celebrities will auction their works of art for charity to help Bob Wilson’s Willow foundation. Willow is a foundation which raises awareness about life-threatening conditions such as cancer, motor neuron disease, muscular dystrophy and organ failure, for 100 special days a year for young adults.
Football contributions include: Geoff Hurst, Martin Peters, Steven Gerrard, Roy Hodgson, Lee Dixon, Bob Wilson, Trevor Brooking and Jose Mourinho.
Each artist will individually provided a unique piece of artwork which was transferred onto a canvas by them. These pieces of art will be sold on eBay, with bids starting for as little as 99p.
Bob Wilson is former Arsenal goalkeeper. He created this foundation with his wife, Megs in 1999, in the memory of his 31 year old daughter who died due to cancer.
Wilson said: "This much anticipated Willow fundraiser takes more than a year to collate.
"Together our artists, illustrators, actors, singers and photographers create the most fantastic collection of original artworks and we are extremely grateful for every contribution.
"By choosing to support Willow they are helping to fulfill many more Special Days for young adults living with serious illness."
