QPR secured the former Tottenham player for £8 million. The player was supposedly convinced with the fact that he could regularly share playing time with veteran Rio Ferdinand who left Manchester United to join the Loftus Road club recently.
The 22-year-old will earn above £42,000, the reported sum Crystal Palace offered. Here’s what the youngster had to say about his signing: “Harry was a big factor for me, having worked with him at Tottenham.
“Being able to play with Rio Ferdinand was also a big draw. He has been a role model for many years, along with Ledley King.
“Our first aim this season has to be to get to 40 points, to make sure we stay up,” the player caught telling the QPR official Website.
