Flying Dutch Winger Says He's Being Punished

Arjen Robben feels as if he is being punished by the ref's after numerous attempts to win a penalty through throwing himself down in the box even when there was minimum or no contact.

The latest incident was the World cup game against Mexico, where he threw himself down to buy his team a penalty.

Robben was brought down in his sides 2-0 win over Cologne.

As was quoted saying:

"I made a mistake at the World Cup and I owned up to it, but now it
seems like I am being punished for it," Robben told Sky television in
Germany.
"You've always got to be able to look yourself in the mirror and I
can do that today - it was a clear penalty and the referee didn't give
it.
"I've just got to accept it. It's probably going to happen quite often
this season."

Thankfully, it didn't cost his side anything, as Bayern cruised to a comfortable 2-0 win and lead the German league by 2 points.
