Tottenham vs Liverpool Match Preview

Just a week before the international friendlies take stage, the Premier league provides us with blockbuster game at the White Hart Lane, were we see Spurs take on the Liverpool. With Sherwood gone, Pochettino and Tottenham have new feel to the side. Six points from the opening two games see the North London side sit 3rd on the table, after wins against QPR and Westham. On the other hand, Liverpool come off a difficult lose against Manchester City. With three points from a possible six, Brenden Rodgers will look at his new signing Mario Balotteli to provide the creative spark.

Team News:

Tottenham Hotspurs: 

With a rejuvenated Erik Lamela and Eriksen spearing heading the Spurs attack, looks like Spurs will line-up as 4-2-3-1. Adebayor looks most likely to start as the number 9. With Kyle Walker injured, Erik Dier looks set to continue his Dream start to the Premier league life.

Injuries: Walker, Soldado (Doubtful)

Probable Line-up: Lloris, Dier, Kaboul, Vertonghen, Rose, Bentaleb, Capoue, Lamela, Eriksen, Chadli and Adebayor.

Liverpool:

New signing Lallana set to make his Liverpool debut, but needs to be seen if Rodgers gives him a start or brings him on as a substitute. After a loss against City, Liverpool have to man up and start taking to onus of winning on to themselves. Balotteli could be given his Liverpool debut, alongside England forward Daniela Sturridge. A midfield three of Gerrard Allen and Henderson look the likeliest midfield combination.

Injuries: Flanagan

Probable Line-up: Mignolet, Manquillo, Lovren, Skrtel, Moreno, Henderson, Allen, Gerrard, Balotelli, Sterling and Sturridge.

Prediction:

Tottenham 2-2 Liverpool.
