Victor Valdes to be given to Valencia!
Valencia is close to agreeing to a 1 year loan deal for Goalkeeper Victor Valdes. Valdes’ agent, Gines Carvajal, has reportedly entered negotiations with Valencia over a year-long loan deal which would effectively end his Manchester United career as he is six months into an 18-month contract. His deal reportedly includes a 12 month loan period with an option to extend it for 3 years.
Louis van Gaal has blasted the Spaniards attitude earlier this week after he said that he would not want to play for the reserve team. The goalkeeper who was left out of the squad for the USA pre season tour was the subject of speculation regarding his future at the EPL club. Victor Valdes may have won a lot of trophies during his time with Barcelona but LVG believed that any player who does not follow his philosophy does not have a place in his team and blatantly said that the only way out is the way out of the club.
It is believed that Valdes’s deal would hand United a major boost in securing one of their prime transfer target, Otamendi, from Valencia. The Centre Back has heavily been linked to a move away from Spain and Manchester United keen on signing the Argentine.
Sergio Romero is also on United’s radar as Valdes’s exit seems evident. LVG is said to be keen on signing the Argentine.
As per recent reports David De Gea is now likely to stay at United, with Ream Madrid refusing to meet the £35-million asking price for the 24-year-old Goalkeeper.
