2. Blind has been coached by his father Danny Blind whilst on national duty for Netherlands in World Cup.

3. He was second generation footballer for Ajax Amsterdam as his father Danny was a stalwart at the club in 90's.

4. He is very versatile as he can play as left back, right back, centre back and defensive midfielder.

5. He was Dutch Player of the year for the 2013-14 season.

6. He is product of famed youth academy of Ajax.

8. The Blind's both Daley and Danny have unique distinction of being coached by Louis van Gaal.
