Romania secured their place in the finals with 5 wins and 5 draws while conceding only 2 goals! They Defeated former winner Greece in both fixtures and defeated group winners Northern Ireland in the 2 – 0! They also scored 11 goals and finished with the highest goal difference in the group.

2) Closest To Glory
Romania finished as the winners of group 7 (above Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal, who eventually reached the Semis) scoring 25 goals and securing 24 points from 10 matches! They then Won, Drew And Lost 1 Match each during the finals group stages! Securing a point Against Oliver Kahn’s Germany and 3 Against David Beckham’s England in those 3 matches. They then lost 2 – 0 to Italy in the Quarter Finals, a match where Italian legends, Filippo Inzaghi and Francesco Totti scored against them.
