All about the Football Scout!
With technology having entered replacing everything, there is one thing it can't replace it is Scouts!
Scouts are football experts who regularly attend games and try spotting talents with their naked eye.
Today we look at scouts who have found hidden talents like Kaka, Oscar, Ronaldo and picked them from streets and made them the superstars of today.
There are generally two types of scouts - one the player scout and another tactical scout. Player scout is the one who does the talent spotting. Where as the tactical scout almost exclusively works as an employee of a club who watches opposition.
The basic job of a player scout is to spot a talent at a very young age. The player scout himself has two different roles. The scout evaluates players talent, notes them down and reports it to the club. A scouts job could be tough one due to their player not been termed successful for a club or not talented enough. Or have a scuff with an agent who might be looking for his cute.
Big clubs have a level where they want their players to pass the test to qualify for the academy. Clubs generally have big network which they use to track talents.
These all aspects make a job of the scout quite difficult.
