Two teams that have failed to make any great impression in the history of this tournament will clash in the first match of the day. The FIFA World Cup 2014 will be a stepping stone for building experience for the FIFA World Cup 2018 for both teams.

Top Players to look out for:

While Mexico have a talented striker in the likes of Chicarito (Javier Hernandez) who plays for Manchester United, his form this season has not been great. Scoring just 9 goals in 35 appearances, he will look to improve his form. However, for the national team he has scored at more than 0.55 goals per game which is a good record.

While Cameroon have one of the most experienced Strikers in Samuel Eto’o, who has won top tier leagues in Spain and Italy along with the Champion’s League twice. He is no stranger to playing against the big names. Although he did not have as great a season as he would have liked at Chelsea, this 33 year old is out to prove a point to his ex-Manager in London that he is not old and can still score goals at will. His frequent celebrations mocking Jose Mourinho are proof to the fact that he is still full of confidence and energy.

Teams Head-to-Head:

Mexico have won the only previous game between these two teams.

Prediction:

Will definitely be a tough fixture, with both teams out to prove a point and a win for Mexico is predicted again.

Final score prediction Mexico 2 – 1 Cameroon
