The Summer transfer window came to a close barely 10 days ago. But there are some Premier League stars who missed out or failed to make their moves on the deadline day.
Here are the five players who should make a move in winter transfer window or in the upcoming loan transfer window.
1. Joel Campbell [Arsenal] -
He was expected to break into Arsenal first team after having a stellar World Cup with Costa Rica. The Injury to Oliver Giroud was like a blessing in disguise for the 20 year old but the last minute signing of Danny Welbeck all but ate his minutes at Arsenal. There are rumors about Benfica being interested in the striker. He should snap this opportunity up if at all it has any truth in it.
2. Mohammed Salah [Chelsea] -
Chelsea has one of the best midfields in the league, if not the best. With the likes of Eden Hazard, Willian, Fabregas and Oscar already at the helm, it looks very difficult for the Egyptian to break into this Chelsea side for regular first team football.
3. Anders Lindegaard [Manchester United] -
David De Gea has established himself as Numero Uno at the Old Trafford. Along with the rise of this academy product Ben Amos is doing Anders Lindegaard no favours at all. There were rumors of him moving to Celtic on loan during the deadline day.
4. Fabio Borini [Liverpool] -
Lambert, Sturridge and Balotelli. This sums everything up for the Italian. He was put on the transfer list by boss Brendan Rodgers and two bids from QPR and Sunderland were also accepted by the club. But it was the player who rejected the move. Foolish indeed. He should try for a move in January in order to save his career from going down the drain.
5. Scott Sinclair [Manchester City] -
He was a huge prospect in British football during his Swansea days. Sinclair had one heck of a season with Swansea under Brendan Rodgers earning himself a move to Manchester City. Then everything went awry for the winger. At only 25 he has a chance to resurrect his flagging career. As he himself expressed his desire to leave Manchester for some regular first team football.
