A subdued start for Fernando Torres

Fernando Torres' home return was much of a subdued affair, as he was subbed by coach Simeone on the 59th minute.

Fernando Torres who moved three clubs this year, returned home to Vicente Calderon as he seeks a return in form. Chelsea who loaned Torres to AC Milan at the start of this season, went on to move on a permanent basis to the Italian side where he failed to make an impact.

Milan who wanted Cerci and Atletico who where looking to take the childhood hero ' El Nino' back had a deal.

Torres who made his coming by starting against arch rivals Real, had a poor game with him being judged offside three times. Torres found it difficult to settle in and found himself lost at one point.

With no real improvement in his game play since his Chelsea days, the question a rises that can any one get him back to his old form? Can Simeone and Atletico help find El Nino his footballing solace?
