A.C. Milan vs Roma

4th place Roma are playing a 10th place AC Milan today. This is a key fixture for both teams, If Milan lose today they would slip to the bottom half of the table whereas Roma need to win in order to keep the champions league hopes alive for the next season. Milan last won a league match at the beginning of April and have lost three league games in a row since their 2-1 victory over Palermo. A recent dip in form has cost Roma dearly as they dropped important points which may cost them the spot for the champions league. They have managed to win just twice at home since November. Doumbia seems to be in fine form as he scored two goals in the last two matches.

Milan’s De sciglio would not be available for selection after getting the red card against Napoli. Jeremy Menez is serving a four match ban, making him sit this game out. Ricardo Montolivo will not be able to feature in the remainder of the current season as after undergoing a surgery to remove pins from his leg.

Roma are without Maicon, Kevin Strootman and Leandro Castan. Doumbia may be a slight doubt after picking up a knock against Genoa last weekend; however he is expected to continue in the attack.

AC Milan possible starting lineup:

Lopez, Abate, Alex, Paletta, Antonelli, Poli, De Jong, Van Ginkel, Bonaventura, Honda, Destro

Roma possible starting lineup:

De Sanctis, Florenzi, Astori, Manolas, Torisidis, Pjanic, De Rossi, Nainggolan, Iturbe, Gervinho, Doumbia
