Alessandro Nesta Arrives!

Alessandro Nesta who signed with ISL side Chennaiyin FC a fort night ago has landed in India as he gets ready to join the table toppers.

Nesta is considered to be one of the best centre backs of his generation as played for top tier club all his life. Nesta has been signed by the Chennai outfit following a couple of injuries to their key players.

Alessandro Nesta replaces outgoing Columbian striker Steven Mendoza.

Chennai manager Marco Materrazi who has managed to rope Nesta in, will make the defender come out of retirement as he last played in 2013 for MLS side Montreal.

Chennaiyin who have based their sides success on the defensive strength, have done well to get another world class player to bring the side class and quality.

The Abhishek Bachchan owned side is firm favorites to win the inaugural Indian Super League after their brilliant performance in the group stage games.
