The new Juventus coach, Allegri who was in charge of AC Milan when Balotelli led his strike force has been linked with a move back for the Italian forward.
Mario who moved to Liverpool for £16m this summer has failed to score even a single goal in the Premier League.
With the striker struggling, Liverpool have tried to offload the player. With Juventus seemed to be the club interested in signing the forward.
Allegri was quoted saying:
"I've had him with me [at AC Milan] and he had a very good season,"
he said. "Mario has built a character out of the world of football
which attracts most of the attention. But he has excellent quality,
although he must prove it.
"Would I love to have him back? I like to have better players."
