Paris Saint Germain player Edinson Cavani’s agent has claimed that Premier League clubs Liverpool and Arsenal have made offers to buy him.

The move makes sense as Liverpool have not found a valuable replacement for the £75 Barcelona man Luis Suarez and the player’s unhappiness at PSG is apparent.

The 27-year-old had a good debut season at PSG as he scored 25 goals but still he’s not thrilled about playing out of position.

Claudio Anelluci, the Uruguayan international’s agent said: “There has been much interest in the player during the last six months.

“I can confirm that Cavani heard proposals from Liverpool and Arsenal. (Cavani) already said he would love to play in England, but has not yet made a final decision.

“He is not interested in money and fame; just want to be happy playing football,” he was caught telling El Telegrafo.
