Arsenal v Manchester United Match Preview

The blue chip fixture of the Premier League is back as Arsenal host Manchester United at Emirates. Louis van Gaal will be hoping that he can sort his team out before the trip to North London.

Overview

The Titans of English football are struggling big time this season for different reasons. United still coming to terms with the life post Sir Alex Ferguson. Whereas the Gunners are still stuck in the rut of mediocrity. The battle for the fourth is on as Emirates will witness a high voltage clash tonight.

Team News

There is a stark contrast in team news of both the teams. For a change, Arsene Wenger will be happy with the number of players available after the international break.

The hosts are boosted by the return of Oliver Giroud and Mikel Arteta. They will start or not is a big question but they are available for today. United on the other hand have been struck by injuries this term quite frequently. Latest one on the block is Daley Blind, who succumbed to a knee injury in this international break. The Reds were already loaded in physio room.

One good news for LvG is return of Phil Jones and Johnny Evans and they're expecting Michael Carrick to be fit for this game.
