Arsenal vs Galatasaray Match Preview


With first round of game week two fixtures getting done yesterday, it saw Arsenal's next week's Premier league opponents Chelsea win their away game against Sporting Lisbon. With Arsenal looking to open their points in the Champions league group stages for the season, they face on Galatasaray at home. On the other hand the Turkish shared spoils with Anderlecht in their first game week.

As always, Arsenal and their medical department have their hands full with lots of players injured. With Arsene Wenger facing a dilemma, about player selection for the Galatasaray with one eye on the fixture against Chelsea.
Arsenal will be without midfielder Aaron Ramsey and captain Mikel Arteta for Wednesday night's game against Galatasaray. Where as, Arsenal prodigy; Jack Wilshere should be fit from an ankle problem. But isn't expected to start. Theo Walcott and Alex Ox Chamberlian are in line to return after the international break, along with defender Nacho Monreal and striker Yaya Sanogo.


Galatasaray:



Galatasaray who lost Didier Drogba to Chelsea in the summer, have replaced the talisman former Inter man, Goran Pandev. With the attacking onus on Sneijder and Swiss man Dzemaili, Prandelli's side are the only Turkish side who are still undefeated. A lose against Arsenal today could leave the men from Turkey facing an uphill battle.


With stats favouring the English team, it needs to be seen if Galatasary could cause an upset today.
