Arsenal win FA cup by beating Aston Villa 4-0!

Gunners won their record 12th FA cup as they Hammered Aston Villa 4 – 0 in the FA cup finals. Walcott, Sanchez, Mertesacker, Giroud helped Arsenal win when they all found the back of the net. Tim Sherwood enjoyed an impressive maiden season in charge of Aston Villa however he was denied any silverware when his men were clearly outclassed and outplayed by the Arsene Wenger’s men.

Unlike last season’s start of the game where Arsenal found themselves trailing by two goals against Hull City, this game started very differently. Arsenal began the game with a solid and assertive start and took it up a notch as the game proceeded. They progressively turned the heat on Given's goal with a series of corners and set-pieces.

Theo Walcott scored the first goal in the match when the ball headed by Sanchez landed in the box and the English international made no mistake in slotting the ball at the near post with a powerful finish.

Sanchez doubled Arsenal’s lead when he scored a screamer from 30 yards out, a shot that swerved and dipped into the net.

Per Mertesacker made it 3 – 0. A Santi Cazorla ball found Mertesacker , who beat Benteke and managed to beat the keeper with his Shoulder.

Oliver Giroud made it 4 – 0 in stoppage time. Oxlade-Chamberlain received the ball from Wilshere only to make a small run down the right flank and cross the ball accurately to find the French Striker who beat his mark to finish the play with a brilliant touch.

Arsenal, have now proved that they are a team which will definitely be strong contenders to win the Premier League next season.
